We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. To support the organisation’s growth, we have an opportunity for a Business Management Administrator to join our Farnham team. This is a permanent full-time role working 5 days per week in the office.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the administration processes and procedures within the regional office in an efficient, calm and friendly manner. To exceed expectations of both internal and external clients.
  • Support the Business Management Team with the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • To continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to administrative processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across the group.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the organisation and with external parties, such as clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Maintain and organise important records, documents, and databases as requested. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain (paper & Electronic) filing systems and archiving, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality.
  • Provide general administrative support to all our divisions, including tasks such as monthly billing, filing, booking meeting rooms and using the Business Support Helpdesk Ticketing system.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, appointments, and events for senior Management or teams within the organisation.
  • Arrange, Co-ordinate and manage internal team building events, Arrange and co-ordinate social events, Arrange and Co-ordinate Charity Events including collections, posters etc if requested.
  • Use various software and tools to manage administrative tasks, such as Microsoft Office, Document Management System, and communication tools.
  • Ensure that the organisation's administrative policies and procedures are followed.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance requirements that may affect the organisation's administrative functions.

Requirements:

  • You will have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above (or equivalent)
  • Typically, you will have several years of experience in administrative roles, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
  • An understanding of the specific industry or sector in which the organisation operates is desired but not required.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • You will be able to demonstrate precision in record-keeping and administrative tasks is crucial to avoid errors.
  • You will have the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • You will have a proficiency in using office software, project management tools, and other relevant software.
  • You will have the ability to identify issues and develop solutions to improve processes and workflow; as well as
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities are crucial for managing administrative tasks efficiently.
  • A positive, confident and proactive attitude
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated
  • Relevant work experience and/or experience of working within a fast paced office environment.
