Business Management Trainee

CNG is expanding, and we’re looking for people who want to develop into capable managers as the business grows.

With planned offices in Leeds and London and a Europe launch scheduled for 2028, we’re investing in the people who could help lead that next stage. This entry-level opportunity gives you practical business experience, direct coaching, and clear expectations as you work towards broader responsibility.

About the Role

You’ll start by learning how our campaigns, customer relationships, and daily operations work. From there, you’ll build the judgement and leadership skills needed to support colleagues, understand results, and contribute to business decisions.

Start with Practical Responsibility

Your development will cover client relationships, business development, operations, and team leadership. Working alongside experienced managers, you will:

  • Support campaign delivery and customer engagement to understand the business first-hand.
  • Help coordinate daily tasks, priorities, and agreed follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate information for client updates and account discussions.
  • Review performance figures and help explain changes in activity and results.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest practical improvements.
  • Support team briefings and colleagues’ development as you demonstrate readiness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll learn how these responsibilities connect. Accurate records help managers make decisions, clear briefings help teams deliver, and reliable follow-through builds client confidence. As your experience develops, you may contribute more widely to operational planning and growth activity, with guidance from managers responsible for those decisions.

Show Us How You Approach a Challenge

We welcome graduates from any discipline, career changers, and people with leadership or team experience from work, sport, or volunteering.

You should be comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues, organising competing priorities, and explaining your thinking. We’re particularly interested in people who take initiative, stay composed when plans change, and apply feedback.

Previous management experience isn’t essential. Bring examples of when you took responsibility, helped a team achieve something, or found a better way to complete a task.
