Our Service Managers are the front of our business, working directly with our customers. They are responsible for developing long-term relationships and a partnership with our customers, by providing high-quality support whilst generating creative solutions to challenges, ultimately helping our customers to address their business needs and achieve their objectives. Service Managers are the face of our services business and are often seen as an extended part of the customer team, through their proximity and solid understanding of the customer's business and its people.

Our Service Management division is at the heart of our business, providing services to some of the world’s largest organisations…helping to keep the public safe, keep planes in the air, entertain the world and develop life-saving pharmaceuticals.

By the end of our programme, you will own and drive these critical services for our customers, ensuring their business outcomes, alongside driving new opportunities to grow our business.

What you’ll do

  • Learn about Computacenter's core service offerings, develop your leadership skills and work towards industry-recognised qualifications
  • Build strong long-lasting relationships with your customers and account teams to understand your customer's business objectives and goals and add value to new and existing services
  • Lead customer and internal meetings to keep track of service performance and key actions, ensuring services are being delivered in line with contractual obligations and strategic goals
  • Develop your knowledge of our technical services and commercial policies to ensure your customers services run efficiently and promote high-quality customer satisfaction
  • Manage the financial operational costs and revenues, forecasting for new business opportunities and reporting on the financial health and performance of your customer account
  • Identify growth opportunities and working alongside the customer, help them with their business and technology challenges
  • Sharpen your presentation and communication skills by presenting to customers and the account and leadership teams on account strategy and performance
  • Analyse key performance metrics and trends to look for ways in which you can provide additional value and innovation to improve or grow services
  • Gain exposure to a global corporate environment with an opportunity to work virtually with colleagues across the world (e.g. Europe, USA and Asia-Pacific)
  • Gain an industry recognised ITIL accreditation, a globally respected framework for managing IT services effectively, as well as having access to the highest quality external training that builds the skills, knowledge and mindset of a standout Service Management professional.

  • You are degree educated (any subject and any classification accepted) or you have 2-3 years of experience in a customer facing role
  • You’ll have a keen interest in technology and striving to achieve outstanding levels of service to customers
  • You’ll be personable with the ability to communicate and build relationships
  • You’ll be hardworking and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • You’ll be willing to learn and make mistakes, always with a thirst and drive for making things better for our company and your customers
  • You’ll be adaptable to situations and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making
  • You’ll be confident in speaking and delivering presentations to senior leaders and customers
  • You’re free from September 2027 to start the 10-month Business Management Graduate Associate Programme!
