Purpose of the Role

Business Manager, CTO Office

Location: Milton Park, Oxfordshire, UK

Reporting to: Chief of Staff, Technology Office

Shape the Future of Sustainable Technology

At Agratas, we're powering the future of sustainable energy through the design and manufacture of next-generation battery technologies. As part of the Tata Group, we are building a world-class battery business that will support the global transition to electrification and net-zero mobility.

To help us achieve this ambition, we are seeking an exceptional Business Manager, CTO Office to join our Technology Organisation in Oxford. This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of a growing global business, partnering directly with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief of Staff to drive efficiency, governance, and operational excellence across a fast-paced technology function.

About The Role

The CTO Office is a small, high-impact team responsible for enabling the successful execution of Agratas' technology strategy. Supporting senior technology leaders operating across multiple countries and time zones, the team plays a critical role in coordinating priorities, driving governance, and ensuring smooth organisational operations.

As Business Manager, you will act as a trusted partner to the CTO and Chief of Staff, providing executive-level support while helping to coordinate strategic initiatives across the wider technology organisation. This highly visible role requires exceptional organisational capability, commercial awareness, sound judgement, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.

You will be a natural relationship builder, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, board representatives, and international visitors.

Key Responsibility Areas

Executive and Leadership Support

  • Manage the CTO's complex calendar, ensuring priorities are aligned and schedules are optimised.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, board engagements, strategic reviews, and leadership events.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing packs, presentations, agendas, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Track actions, commitments, key decisions, and follow-up activities arising from leadership meetings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
