Are you an experienced automotive sales leader ready to take the next step in your career?

At Vertu Vauxhall & Citroën Northampton, we're looking for a driven and customer-focused Business Manager to join our successful dealership. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our sales operation, helping customers find the right finance and insurance solutions while supporting the team to deliver exceptional commercial performance.

About The Role

As Business Manager, you'll be a vital part of the dealership's leadership and sales team, supporting colleagues and customers throughout the vehicle buying journey.

Working closely with our Sales Executives, you'll be responsible for structuring and presenting finance and insurance solutions that meet customers' needs while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.

You'll play an important role in maximising department performance, coaching and supporting colleagues, and delivering outstanding levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Building and presenting tailored finance and insurance packages
  • Supporting the delivery of Vertu's proven sales process
  • Driving departmental performance against agreed targets
  • Maximising vehicle and associated product sales opportunities
  • Ensuring customers receive clear, accurate and compliant information
  • Promoting finance, warranties, insurance products and vehicle protection packages
  • Supporting both first and second-facing customer interactions
  • Maintaining the highest standards of customer experience and regulatory compliance
  • Working collaboratively with the management and sales teams to achieve dealership objectives

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Business Manager, Transaction Manager or Senior Sales Executive within the motor industry.
  • Strong understanding of finance and insurance products and their associated regulations
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with customers and colleagues alike
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes
  • Full UK Driving Licence
