Role: Technology Business Manager
Rate: £450/day inside IR35 (via Umbrella)
Location: London (twice/week onsite)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month initial contract (scope for extension)
We’re supporting a leading London Markets Insurer seeking an experienced Business Manager to support a business-critical cloud programme, combining project delivery, analysis and hands-on business management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of practical programme tasks, coordination, documentation and management packs, and following actions through.
- Deliver smaller projects or workstreams, clarifying what needs to happen, coordinating contributors and keeping delivery moving.
- Carry out analysis and turn incomplete information into clear documents, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Engage with the business to understand ongoing projects, what they are intended to achieve and how they support the growth strategy.

Required experience:

- A combination of hands-on project management, business analysis and some PMO or programme coordination experience.
- Evidence of taking smaller projects or workstreams from an unclear starting point through to a useful outcome.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management: comfortable approaching people, asking questions, challenging constructively and securing follow-through.
- Strong Excel capability and confidence working through large datasets.
