Role Description

The Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Ayr, responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the dealership’s sales operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing finance and insurance (F&I) processes, preparing and reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and lender requirements, and coordinating with sales staff to finalize transactions. The Business Manager will develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, present financing and protection options to customers in a clear and ethical manner, and monitor performance metrics related to profitability and customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting internal audits, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and the overall customer experience.

  • Strong financial and administrative skills, including experience with contracts, documentation, and compliance.
  • Background in automotive retail, banking, or finance, with knowledge of vehicle financing and insurance products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to customers.
  • Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
