Business Manager, Grocery | Tata Consumer Products

Ready to take meaningful commercial ownership within the UK grocery market?

This is an opportunity to combine exposure to a major Top 4 Grocery customer with direct ownership of additional strategically important accounts.

The Role

We’re looking for a commercially astute and results-focused Business Manager, Grocery to join our UK Sales team.

You’ll work alongside the Senior Business Manager to help shape the strategy and performance of a Top 4 Grocery account worth approximately £15 million in annual revenue, contributing to its commercial, volume and trading objectives.

Alongside this, you’ll take full P&L responsibility for additional Grocery, High Street and Discounter accounts, giving you direct ownership of customer performance, trading investment and account profitability.

🔍 Your impact

  • Help shape the commercial strategy and performance of a major Top 4 Grocery account
  • Take full P&L ownership of additional strategically important customer accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with customer buying teams and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of Joint Business Plans
  • Turn customer, competitor and market insight into commercial opportunities
  • Partner with Commercial and Logistics teams to strengthen promotional forecasting
  • Help deliver successful product launches and maximise distribution
  • Identify and deliver growth opportunities across the expanding ecommerce channel
  • Contribute to customer negotiations, trading plans and profitable account growth

✅ What we’re looking for

  • Account-management experience within a sales or commercial role in retail or FMCG, with knowledge of the UK grocery market
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of customer profitability and P&L management
  • The ability to use customer, market and competitor insight to make effective decisions
  • Confidence in building customer relationships and collaborating across business functions
  • A proactive, implementation-focused and results-driven approach
