Business Manager - Strategy & Transformation Team

West Suffolk NHS Trust is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Manager to join the Strategy & Transformation Team.

Role Overview

Working closely with divisional leaders, senior clinicians, and operational teams, you will use your project management, analytical, and business-planning expertise to support the development and delivery of business plans, business cases, cost improvement plans, and service improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to scope, develop, and deliver efficient, well-planned, and sustainable services.
  • Provide technical project management expertise to support divisional triumvirates in delivering meaningful change and evidence success.
  • Work independently, confidently influence senior stakeholders, and enjoy building strong relationships, solving problems, and making a measurable difference in a complex environment.

Services We Provide

  • The West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds provides acute and secondary care services (emergency department, maternity and neonatal services, day surgery unit, eye treatment center, Macmillan unit, and children's ward). It has 500+ beds and is a partner teaching hospital of the University of Cambridge.
  • Adult and pediatric community services, provided in collaboration with West Suffolk Alliance partners, include a range of nursing, therapy, specialist, and ongoing temporary care and rehabilitation, some at our Newmarket Community Hospital.
