Role Overview
The Business Manager EMEA Tech M&A and Integration plays a key role in shaping and delivering technology integration across EMEA transformation and M&A initiatives.
Working in partnership with the Technology Integration Lead, the role will take end-to-end ownership of a significant technology integration workstream, depending on portfolio priorities. The role will help define the integration approach, translate business and deal objectives into technology outcomes, and bring together the right stakeholders to make effective decisions and deliver sustainable change.
This is a broad integration role requiring strategic judgement, technology understanding and strong delivery leadership. The role will operate across organisational boundaries, challenge existing approaches where appropriate, and ensure that integration decisions balance business value, user experience, risk, cost and long-term technology strategy.
The role will also flex across governance, financial management, M&A coordination and other areas of the integration portfolio as business priorities evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Integration Strategy and Workstream Ownership
- Take end-to-end ownership of an assigned technology integration workstream, depending on portfolio priorities and business needs.
- Shape the workstream strategy and integration approach, aligning business objectives, deal commitments and regional requirements with the wider technology strategy.
- Assess integration options and trade-offs, considering business value, risk, cost, complexity, user impact and long-term sustainability.
- Bring together technology, business, operations, architecture and external partners to establish a shared direction and drive delivery.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to resolve ambiguity, challenge assumptions and secure timely decisions.
- Ensure that architecture, security, operational and business requirements are considered throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Own delivery of the agreed workstream outcomes from planning through implementation, transition and closure.
- Identify emerging risks, constraints and opportunities, recommending appropriate interventions to the Technology Integration Lead.
- Flex across adjacent workstreams where broader portfolio alignment or additional leadership is required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
