Business Manager – Finance & Transformation

What you'll be doing:
- The Business Manager operates at the centre of the CFO Office (encompassing the CFO, Finance Strategy Director, Executive Assistant and associated support activity), working closely with the Finance and Transformation leadership to support the coordination, tracking and communication of CFO priorities across the Finance and Transformation function.
- The role supports effective governance and delivery discipline by helping to prepare, coordinate and maintain visibility of key commitments, risks and dependencies, enabling the CFO and Finance Strategy Director and wider leadership team to make informed decisions.
- Supports the coordination of governance activity and delivery cadence, ensuring consistent standards and execution across all Finance and Transformation activity.
- Provides early visibility of delivery risks, governance issues and execution challenges.
- Tracks actions and commitments, supporting clarity of ownership and progress rather than owning resolution and helps to ensure consistent application of governance, delivery and reporting standards across the Finance and Transformation team.
- Maintains the central delivery view across CFO priorities, plans and commitments.
- Supports delivery coordination across Finance and Transformation, helping leaders maintain oversight of progress, dependencies and upcoming decision points.
- Provides forward visibility of upcoming decision points, governance activity and delivery risks, ensuring the CFO and Finance Strategy Director are sighted and prepared.
- Coordinates and consolidates inputs and reporting to support visibility of performance across CFO accountabilities, working with Senior Leadership and the Finance Strategy Director.
- Ensures timely production and collation of Finance and Transformation MI.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience operating in a Finance or Legal/Company Secretariat role within a complex organisation
- Strong understanding of governance, operating models and delivery management within a Finance and Transformation environment
- Proven ability to support and maintain control and oversight of delivery across multiple priorities, ensuring execution is actively managed and progressed in line with agreed outcomes
- Experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams, with the credibility and judgement to operate effectively in a Finance and Transformation environment
- Ability to navigate and coordinate across a broad range of stakeholders, driving alignment, managing dependencies and resolving conflicts
