Lead. Inspire. Grow. Shape the future of one of Glasgow's most established recruitment businesses.

At Office Angels, we're passionate about connecting exceptional talent with outstanding businesses. Our Glasgow office has a long-standing reputation for delivering recruitment excellence across the region, and we're now looking for an ambitious, commercially-minded Business Manager to lead our high-performing team into its next phase of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven recruitment leader or experienced manager who thrives on driving performance, developing people, building client relationships, and delivering outstanding financial results.

The Role

As Business Manager, you will have full responsibility for the success of our Glasgow branch. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will lead the implementation of Office Angels' business strategy at a local level, ensuring your team delivers exceptional results while providing an outstanding experience for both clients and candidates.

You will act as the driving force behind branch performance, creating a culture of success, accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive branch revenue growth by increasing market share across the Glasgow region.
  • Translate business strategy into clear, measurable branch objectives and action plans.
  • Monitor, analyse and deliver against key performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Own branch profitability and financial performance, including effective P&L management.
  • Lead from the front in delivering exceptional client and candidate experiences.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving issues proactively and effectively.
  • Identify new business opportunities and oversee branch sales, marketing and service activities.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop top talent within your team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support and performance management to maximise individual and team success.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture where people are motivated to exceed expectations.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance across all branch activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
