Role Description

The Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at our Slough dealership. This position is responsible for managing the vehicle finance and insurance process, presenting products clearly and compliantly, and supporting the sales team to maximize performance while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

  • Monitoring performance against targets and key metrics

The Business Manager will work closely with sales colleagues, provide guidance on pricing and product options, and help ensure customers fully understand their choices and commitments. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring adherence to regulatory and brand standards, contributing to sales meetings, and supporting continuous improvement in dealership operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with automotive finance, insurance, or retail finance products.
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and support informed customer decisions.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales practices within the automotive or financial services sectors.
  • Proficiency with dealership systems, CRM tools, and standard office software; comfortable interpreting reports and performance data.
  • Experience in automotive retail or a similar customer-focused environment is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant qualifications in business, finance, or a related field are advantageous, though equivalent experience will be considered.
