Role Overview
The Strategy and Development Team supports the Trust in improving outcomes for people with mental ill health, learning disability, or autism by providing a clear strategic direction and ensuring constructive relationships with commissioners and stakeholders. This small team leads on strategies and contracts for the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of four other Business Managers supporting the organisation.
- Support one of the Trust's Divisions with planning and commercial activity, including the development of the Annual Plan and Divisional Plans.
- Act as the main link to commissioners for services within these Divisions.
- Contribute to key projects to help the Trust retain and grow income in a sustainable and profitable manner, such as supporting the development of tender submissions and business cases in connection with planned service changes.
- Work closely with senior managers, finance, and HR colleagues to maintain positive relationships with key commissioners, including leading on contract and performance discussions, supporting colleagues in the development of service proposals, and supporting the development and monitoring of the Trust's key strategic plans.
- Travel throughout the HPFT footprint, which includes Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Norfolk.
