As Business Manager - Used Cars

You will play a key role in driving the performance of the used car business, helping shape profitable deals and supporting a high-quality buying journey for customers. This role has a direct impact on sales results, operational performance, and the overall success of the used car function within a premium retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead used car sales performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Manage finance and insurance processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support the sales team with deal structuring and margin optimisation.
  • Monitor stock mix, pricing, and vehicle turnaround to maximise returns.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the used car buying journey.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive sales or dealership business management with premium automotive brands.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and improving profit margins.
  • Strong understanding of finance products, compliance, and deal structuring in an automotive retail or dealership environment.
  • Knowledge of used car operations.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in automotive retail sales.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
