Vice President – Capital Markets Business Management
Location: London Salary: £90k-£110k
We are partnered with a global bank looking for a Vice President to join its Capital Markets Business Management team in London. Working across EMEA and APAC, you will support senior leadership across Capital Markets Operations and Regulatory Services, with a broad remit spanning financial management, operational oversight, governance and strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and coordinate key business management activity across Capital Markets Operations in EMEA and APAC.
- Manage budgeting and longer-term planning across headcount, operating expenses, CAPEX and wider resource requirements.
- Track costs, allocations and business performance, providing senior leadership with meaningful analysis to support decision-making.
- Work across Operations, Front Office, Product Control, Risk and Compliance on regional and global initiatives.
- Support the delivery of new business, regulatory and operational change programmes.
- Review existing processes and operating models, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and ways of working.
- Coordinate governance activity, including leadership meetings, management information, reporting and key documentation.
- Support resource planning across teams and projects as priorities and business requirements evolve.
- Manage elements of the bank’s third-party and supplier relationships, including onboarding, contracts and associated costs.

What You’ll Need:
- Experience within Capital Markets Operations in a bank or similar financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of the trade/transaction lifecycle and how Capital Markets Operations supports trading activity.
- Experience working across the wider Capital Markets infrastructure, including areas such as Front Office, Middle Office, Product Control, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
- Hands-on experience of budgeting, cost management, financial planning and headcount/resource planning.
- Experience delivering or supporting operational, regulatory or strategic change initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory trade or transaction reporting would be advantageous.
