Pay - £184.61 - £208.78 (per day during trial)

Hour - 37 Hours Per Week
About The Opportunity
Elementa Support Services is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND school in Somerset for an experienced and highly organised Finance & School Business Manager.
This is a key senior leadership position within the school, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors. The successful candidate will lead the school's finance function, oversee business support operations and play an important role in the strategic development of the school.
We welcome applications from experienced School Business Managers, as well as finance and accounting professionals looking to develop their career within school business management. Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not essential, as many of the skills required are transferable from finance, accountancy, charity and wider business environments.
What We Offer
- Salary of £36,000 – £40,712, depending on qualifications and experience.
- 37 hours per week, worked over 42 weeks of the year, offering significant time away from normal office-based duties during school closure periods.
- A key role as a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team.
- Funded Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management (DSBM), where appropriate.
- Three hours of protected paid study time each week during the 12-month DSBM programme.
- Professional development tailored to the successful candidate’s existing skills and experience.

Due to the senior nature of the role, some flexibility is required during school closure periods to ensure continuity of essential finance and business functions. Further details of the working arrangements are provided in the Job Description.
Contract & Recruitment Information
Elementa is the recruiting partner therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa.
