Aquent is partnering with a leading global technology company to recruit a Business & Marketing Data Analyst to join a high-performing EMEA marketing team.
Working across a portfolio of consumer products and subscription services, you'll be the team’s dedicated analyst, helping marketers understand campaign performance, customer behaviour and opportunities for growth. You’ll turn complex datasets into clear insights that influence digital marketing strategy, campaign optimisation and business decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems through data and has experience working within digital marketing, advertising or technology environments.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse large and complex marketing datasets to identify trends, customer behaviours and performance opportunities.
- Measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across channels including Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max and other digital advertising platforms.
- Develop dashboards, reports and spreadsheets that provide actionable insights for marketing teams and senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams to define measurement frameworks, campaign targets and success metrics.
- Segment audiences and identify opportunities to improve targeting, engagement and product adoption.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and provide ongoing reporting and optimisation recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting and measurement.
- Support A/B testing, campaign analysis and continuous improvement of reporting methodologies.

What you’ll bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, CRM analytics, digital advertising analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working with large datasets to generate meaningful business and marketing insights.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and performance measurement.
- Experience building dashboards and visualising data using spreadsheets and business intelligence tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python for querying and analysing data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident presenting insights and recommendations to both peers and senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced marketing environment.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who have experience in
- Digital marketing, performance marketing or advertising analytics.
- Technology companies, digital platforms, media organisations, agencies or consulting businesses supporting enterprise technology clients.
- Marketing analytics teams within organisations such as technology companies, digital agencies, CRM or customer insights functions, or vendors supporting these businesses.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and marketing terminology, particularly Google advertising products and campaign measurement.
- Customer segmentation, campaign reporting, attribution and performance analysis.
- A/B testing and marketing experimentation.
- Experience with AI-powered analytics or reporting tools is advantageous but not essential.

Interview process
- Two interview stages.
- First interview with the Hiring Manager.
- Final interview with a member of the analytics team.
- There is no technical coding assessment. Interviews will focus on your previous analytical work, including dashboards, reporting, measurement frameworks and how you’ve translated data into business recommendations.
