Job Description
As the Business Operations Associate at Specter, you will own the company’s financial and operational infrastructure. Working directly with the founders, you'll manage everything from invoicing and cash visibility to contract redlining and HR compliance. This is a high-agency role designed for someone who thrives on building systems and solving complex administrative problems in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
- Manage the full financial cycle, including owning receivables and payables, invoicing, and providing the founders with real-time visibility into the company's cash position.
- Handle commercial legal work by reviewing, drafting, and redlining NDAs and vendor contracts, while managing relationships with external legal counsel and accountants.
- Execute end-to-end internal operations, including payroll processing, HR documentation, employee onboarding, UK visa/immigration administration, and organizing team-wide offsites and events.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses at least 2+ years of professional experience within finance, legal operations, HR, or a fast-paced startup/VC environment.
- Demonstrates high-level competency with numbers and legal contracts, with the ability to handle sensitive financial data and personal records with absolute discretion.
- Shows exceptional high-agency traits, capable of taking messy, undefined administrative problems and resolving them independently without requiring constant guidance from leadership.
