Location: Central London (5 days / week in office)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 base + equity & benefits

The opportunity

Our client is a highly profitable, rapidly growing software company building advanced artificial intelligence tools that streamline complex workflow processes for major firms globally.

Following a period of exceptional revenue growth, they are looking for a methodical, proactive business operations executive to help build the administrative and operational infrastructure needed for their next stage of growth.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the chief of staff, gaining first-hand experience in running a scaling startup. You will play an active role in keeping the business secure, compliant, and running smoothly.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will take ownership of a broad range of high-impact operational functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building operational systems: Partnering with commercial and engineering teams to establish secure internal systems, compliance workflows, and information security processes.
  • Supporting talent growth: Designing, managing, and refining the onboarding process for new hires as the team continues to expand internationally.
  • Managing business coordination: Helping coordinate legal, procurement, and recruitment operations to keep internal processes simple and efficient.
  • Improving product quality: Working closely with product teams to evaluate the behaviour of internal tools, helping to test and refine their software.

  • Relevant experience: 1-3 years in a business operations role within a startup environment. Or someone looking to transition to a startup from consulting.
  • Excellent organisation: High attention to detail and the ability to independently manage, track, and complete tasks across multiple business areas.
  • An interest in AI: Natural curiosity about how large language models function and an eagerness to understand their practical applications in professional services.
  • Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively with different teams, and present ideas with confidence.
  • A proactive mindset: A practical, action-orientated approach to solving problems and the ability to prioritise tasks based on business impact.
