About The Partnerships And Business Strategy Team
The Partnerships and Business Strategy team helps shape and execute strategic initiatives that support the growth of TikTok LIVE. The team works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive business priorities, deliver high-impact programs, and ensure flagship initiatives are executed smoothly and at a high standard.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Operations Intern to join the Partnerships and Business Strategy team and support the execution of one of TikTok LIVE’s flagship events. This internship is ideal for someone who is highly organised, execution-focused, and comfortable managing many moving parts at once.
In this role, the intern will act as a key coordination point across both external and internal stakeholders. Externally, this includes working closely with agencies and other partners. Internally, this includes liaising with teams such as Design, Procurement, and the Central Campaign team to help ensure timelines, deliverables, and communications stay on track.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and be confident following through on operational tasks from planning to delivery.
What success looks like in this role: strong day-to-day execution, attention to detail, clear stakeholder coordination, careful follow-up on details, and reliable support in delivering a high-visibility event on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of a flagship TikTok LIVE event.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day follow-up across multiple work streams.
- Serve as a liaison between external stakeholders, including agencies, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Partner closely with teams such as Design, Procurement, and Central Campaign to ensure materials, approvals, and operational requirements are delivered on time.
- Track action items, dependencies, and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Help prepare status updates, working documents, meeting notes, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify execution risks early and escalate issues in a timely and structured way.
- Provide hands-on operational support before, during, and after key event milestones.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
