I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Someone who can see the bigger picture but isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, get into the detail, and make things happen.
You'll be naturally organized, commercially minded, curious, and confident working across different areas of a business.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in Business Operations, Operations Management, or a similar cross-functional role
- Experience managing people, projects, and competing priorities
- Strong supplier and commercial management skills
- Experience improving business processes and ways of working
- Confidence working with budgets, KPIs, and operational data
- Strong project-management skills
- Great stakeholder-management and communication skills
- A genuine ownership mentality.
Experience across Procurement, IT Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, governance, or ISO environments would be a big advantage - but we're not expecting you to be a specialist in everything.
We're looking for someone who knows how to ask the right questions, bring the right people together, and get it done.
If your natural response to a challenge is “leave it with me” – we want to hear from you.
