Salary: Grade 13, Ranging from £25,989 to £28,142 per annum.
Contract: Fixed Term – 2 Years.
Hours: 37 Hours a week.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Children’s Services as a Business Operations Supervisor who will provide specialist, high-quality business support for Children’s Services. This post is part of a wider Business Operations team specifically working within Education Services.
As a Business Operations Supervisor, you will play a valuable part in assisting Operational colleagues, who support children, young people and their families.
Working within a busy, collaborative and supportive administrative team, you would be undertaking a range of activities.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Coordinate and manage information across a range of systems, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Support quality assurance activities to help maintain high standards and deliver excellent outcomes.
- Help plan and prioritise workloads across the team, keeping services running smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring activity and producing reports to inform decision-making.
- Process and coordinate information from schools, families, partner agencies, and Health and Social Care teams.
- Build positive relationships with schools, local authorities, and key partners, acting as a trusted point of contact.
What You'll Bring
- Proven administrative experience, including supporting or supervising colleagues and working collaboratively within a team.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other web-based systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Well organised and proactive, able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and use your own initiative.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, or an NVQ Level 3 qualification, with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Flexible, reliable and adaptable, with a positive approach to work and changing priorities.

Further Information
- 25 day’s annual leave (additional to bank holidays).
- Flexible working available, using a Hybrid model – working from home and your contracted work base. Office attendance is required on Wednesdays to enable peer support, 1 to 1 meetings, team meeting attendance and training.
