Business Operations Assistant Hampshire

Part time £15/£20 PH

We are looking for a part-time Business Support Assistant to work alongside the owners of this contemporary and dynamic business. This is a permanent role that will require the right person to be flexible in terms of hours and days, but it will be working three full days. This role is varied and will need the right person to be able to think on their feet and be excited to be the operational glue to the business.

The Role

  • Manage all enquiries, via phone, email, and other methods, serve as the primary operational contact
  • Coordinate logistics, inventory, shipping, invoicing, and exhibition management
  • Manage AML, image archiving, and documentation (certificates of authenticity, provenance records)
  • Maintain and update the CRM ensuring information is accurate and current
  • Coordinate sale administration from initial enquiry through to invoices and payment tracking and fulfilment
  • Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, private view events, coordinating suppliers and logistics
  • Assist with website administration
  • Monitor key deadlines and proactively follow up outstanding actions, ensuring projects and sales opportunities progress smoothly
  • Maintain filing systems and records, ensuring compliance is adhered to
  • Identify and implement system improvements, workflows, and operational process to support the business growth
  • Provide administration support to the directors, diary coordination, meeting scheduling, and preparation of sales and operational reports

The Person

  • Highly proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Positive, professional, and adaptable approach in a small business environment.
  • You will need to have your own transport due to the rural location of this business.
  • You will have at least 3 year's experience in a similar Operational/Sales Support role.
