Job Description
Are you an organised, accurate and proactive person with experience of working in administration? Do you have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well both on your own and as part of a team?
We are looking for an Administrator to join our small and friendly team based in our Business Order Unit at Patchway Police Centre on a permanent basis. You will answer queries from a range of different people across the organisation and external suppliers as well as ensuring orders for goods and services are cost effective and processed on time.
Your Role Will Include
- Receiving and processing procurement requests for goods and services
- Providing excellent customer service and building good working relationships with customers
- Researching and identifying products and services to meet the clients’ needs and provide value for money
- Pro-actively managing goods receipting to ensure prompt invoice payment
- Supporting other team members and working well as a team

What do you need?
- Experience of working in an administration function
- Experience of using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent customer relation skills to liaise with suppliers, internal and external customers both verbally and in writing
- Experience in accurate data extraction and input

This is a blended role so you will be able to work from home for the majority of the time. You will work at Patchway Police Centre with the team once a week and full initial training will be provided in person.
Shortlisting will take place on 3rd Sept and interviews will be held from 28th September.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
