We've partnered with LoadLedger to help them find a Commercial Growth business partner.

LoadLedger is warehouse and transport-operations software built by someone who used to run a haulage fleet. UK transport and logistics businesses already use it every day. It covers everything from stock arriving to dispatch, and its barcode scanning works on an ordinary phone. The product is built, and what it needs now is someone to turn it into recurring revenue.

This is an equity partnership: a minimum 5% stake, with no cash element at this stage. The stake is performance-based, which means it's tied to the commercial results you deliver. The terms are agreed in writing with you before you commit to anything.

What you'd take on

  • Shaping and running LoadLedger's commercial strategy, from first conversation to signed customer
  • Opening doors with hauliers, warehouses, logistics firms and workshops
  • Building a sales pipeline and a sales process that still works when volume grows
  • Turning trials and demos into paying, recurring customers
  • Finding partners who open new routes to market

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who LoadLedger is looking for

  • A solid track record in B2B SaaS sales or business development. This matters more than any haulage background.
  • Comfort with outbound work: finding, approaching and closing new business
  • Experience owning a pipeline and a commercial plan, ideally including partnerships

Nice to have: experience selling into transport, haulage, logistics, fleet, warehousing or automotive workshops. Direct transport-tech experience would be particularly useful.

The terms

  • Equity: minimum 5%, performance-based, agreed with you before you commit
  • Cash: none at this stage
  • Commitment: roughly two to three days' worth of time a week, organised however suits you
  • Location: ideally Scotland / Central Belt. Anywhere in the UK works if you're willing to travel to customer meetings.

Why this one is worth a look

The founder spent over a decade in Scottish haulage before setting up their own transport business, KevCo Logistics. Running that fleet, they kept hitting warehouse software that assumed expensive hardware and rigid layouts most operators don't have. So they taught themselves to code and built LoadLedger. The customers already using it have helped shape it, and it's aimed at a part of the market the big platforms tend to overlook. You'd be building alongside someone who has chased PODs (proofs of delivery) and planned vehicles themselves, and who brings the product and industry knowledge.
