Role Description
The Business Partner role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The individual in this role will build and maintain long-term relationships with client organizations across LRS’s specialist sectors, acting as a strategic advisor on recruitment and business performance improvement needs. - Meeting clients (virtually and in person)
- Understanding role requirements
- Collaborating with consultants on search strategies
- Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process from briefing to post-placement follow-up
The Business Partner will analyse client operations and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and coordinate implementation with internal and external stakeholders. This role also involves:
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
- Representing LRS at industry events
- Ensuring that all engagements reflect the company’s compassionate, ethical, and non-discriminatory values
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and account development within recruitment, consulting, or professional services.
- Background in business analysis or performance improvement, with skills in identifying operational issues, interpreting data, and recommending practical solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Comfort with hybrid working arrangements, including effective remote collaboration, use of online meeting tools, and CRM or applicant tracking systems.
- Understanding of recruitment processes and talent strategies across sectors such as Hospitality, IT, Health, Financial Services, or FMCG (multi-sector experience is an advantage).
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices, with sensitivity to psychological wellbeing and organisational culture.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Human Resources, Management, or a related field; relevant
