About the job: Part of Momentum One Zero, an AI and Cybersecurity-focused innovation centre, this role focuses on opening and developing early-stage commercial conversations with industry, engaging senior technical stakeholders (e.g. CTOs), supporting the early-stage assessment and qualification of opportunities, and providing high-quality market intelligence, pipeline insight, and operational recommendations to support the effective delivery of agreed commercial priorities. The post holder will proactively engage with potential clients to generate leads, schedule meetings, and promote Momentum One Zero's value proposition to industry.

About the person: The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
- Degree, (or equivalent qualification), in a relevant subject OR substantial demonstrably relevant experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' recent relevant experience within a business development, sales, or business engagement role(s) to include demonstrable evidence of:
- Building strong relationships and networks with, and effectively managing, a wide variety of business stakeholders
- Generating relevant business development leads and contributing to productive outcomes (projects, events, collaborations)
- Planning, coordinating, and tracking sales or business engagement activity, including reporting and follow-up within defined processes.
