Senior Business Analyst – Investment Performance & Attribution
24 Month Contract - London - Hybrid
The Opportunity
We are working with a leading global investment manager seeking a Business Analyst to join its Investment Performance function.
Sitting at the intersection of Investment Performance, Operations, Technology and Data, this role will support a range of strategic change and process improvement initiatives. You will work closely with performance analysts and investment teams to understand business requirements and help deliver improvements across performance calculation, attribution, benchmarks and investment reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing investment performance and reporting processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Gather requirements from Performance, Investment and Operations teams and translate these into clear functional and data requirements.
- Support change initiatives across performance calculation, attribution, benchmarks and investment data.
- Produce current-state and future-state process maps, conduct gap analysis and support the implementation of new systems, tools and reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Performance, Operations, Technology, Data and front-office Investment teams.
- Support testing, implementation and adoption of new processes and technology solutions.
- Help improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of performance and investment data.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst within Asset Management / Investment Management.
- Strong understanding of investment performance, ideally including performance calculation, attribution and benchmarking.
- Strong equities product knowledge
- Experience working with FactSet is a must have
- Good understanding of investment data and reporting processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional requirements for Technology and Data teams.
- Strong process mapping, gap analysis and As-Is / To-Be experience.
- Exposure to performance platforms, reporting tools or investment data transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.
