We're supporting a major organisation undergoing an ERP transformation and are looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst to help shape and embed future-state business processes across the programme.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and implementation partners to translate system design into practical ways of working, ensuring new processes are clearly defined, tested, documented, and adopted successfully.
This contract is likely to last from 12-16 months.
The Role
You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between technology and business operations, helping to design future-state processes, support testing activities, assess business impacts, and contribute to change and readiness initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong process design experience who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to deliver meaningful business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Design
- Analyse the impact of ERP changes on business operations and ways of working.
- Document future-state processes, operating procedures, controls, roles, and responsibilities.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate technical solution designs into clear and practical business processes.

Documentation & Business Analysis
- Produce and maintain process maps, business procedures, impact assessments, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, process changes, testing activities, and business outcomes.
- Contribute to governance reporting, risks, decisions, and action tracking.
Testing & Business Readiness
- Support end-to-end testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business validation activities.
- Assist with test scenario creation, defect management, retesting, and business sign-off.
- Support go-live, cut-over, and hypercare activities.
- Ensure future-state processes and controls are fully tested and understood before deployment.
Change & Adoption
- Assess business impacts and support organisational readiness activities.
- Contribute to training materials, user guides, and communication content.
- Help stakeholders and business champions understand and adopt new processes and systems.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role within ERP, finance, or business transformation programmes.
- Strong process mapping, analysis, and documentation skills.
- Experience translating complex requirements into practical business processes.
- Knowledge of financial and commercial business processes.
- Experience supporting UAT, testing, defect management, and business validation.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience producing process documentation, operating procedures, training materials, or user guidance.

Desirable Experience
- Experience working on ERP implementation programmes.
- Knowledge of finance processes such as accounts payable, general ledger, reporting, and financial controls.
- Understanding of commercial processes including procurement, budgeting, cost management, and supplier management.
