Business Process Analyst - Up to £550 Per Day – Commodities – London (Hybrid)

Overview:

We are currently searching for an experienced Business Process Analyst to join a leading global Commodities organisation in London. Working closely with the Enterprise Architect, you will help rapidly capture, structure and improve business processes across the organisation, supporting wider transformation and enterprise architecture initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work with subject matter experts across the business to capture and document existing processes, systems, roles, data flows and key decision points.
  • Produce and validate clear as-is and to-be process maps using structured process modelling techniques.
  • Review existing processes to identify gaps, dependencies, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain the enterprise architecture process repository, ensuring documentation is accurate, structured and reusable.
  • Link business processes to relevant applications, data, teams, controls, risks and business capabilities.
  • Support workshops with business and technology stakeholders to validate processes and agree future-state improvements.
  • Analyse proposed process changes, assessing feasibility, operational impact, dependencies and implementation risks.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong experience within Business Process Analysis, Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture, Operating Model Design or Process Improvement.
  • Proven experience documenting as-is and to-be processes and translating complex business activities into clear process artefacts.
  • Experience with process mapping techniques such as BPMN, swimlane diagrams or value stream mapping.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across both business and technology teams.
  • Experience maintaining process repositories, documentation standards, version control and process metadata.
  • Experience with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Ardoq, LeanIX or SharePoint would be beneficial.
  • Experience within Commodities, CTRM, ERP, Finance, Operations or Supply Chain environments would be highly advantageous.
  • Exposure to transformation programmes, feasibility assessments, impact assessments or business cases would be beneficial.
