About Allica Bank
Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.
Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.
Role Description
The Business Process Analyst role is designed to provide support for all of the Processes and Procedures that exist in Operations – and linking them back to the relevant Policies in Allica to ensure compliance.
The role will help support the drive to maturity of how we embed and train out change – including optimising use of technology, and close stakeholder management. The role is a natural build into the existing Operational Assurance team, creating a natural flow between documentation, training and QA.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support the Operations teams to ensure their procedures are updated when new changes are introduced or when the procedure requires a BAU review. As necessary, carry out the procedure updates on behalf of the teams and ensure these are reviewed and signed off by the Procedure Owners and Approvers.
- Support the robust governance of all processes and procedures owned by Operations (i.e. correctly documented, communicated, stored and version controlled).
- Attend the regular Product team demo’s, raising questions when appropriate and identifying the impacts on the existing processes. Ensure these changes are documented in new / updated procedures, which are then signed off and put into an issued state.
- Attend the Monthly Procedure Review meetings and when required lead the meetings, taking notes throughout and issuing these to the meeting attendees.
- Participate in the FAQ Review process by supporting the Procedures Manager in ensuring all FAQs are reviewed and updated on a quarterly basis.
- Support the cross-functional digitalisation strategy for how Policy / Process / Procedure is managed within Allica – including the introduction of new technology solutions.
- Support the Operations Management team in implementing change – helping them undertake document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis as appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
