Position Description

At CGI, we help organisations transform the way they work, turning complex processes into simpler, more effective ways of delivering value. As a Business Process Consultant, you’ll lead process analysis and redesign across complex client environments, using insight, collaboration, and creative thinking to deliver measurable improvements. You’ll have ownership of workstreams, influence senior stakeholders, and shape practical solutions that support lasting transformation. Working alongside an experienced community of consultants, you’ll be encouraged to challenge assumptions, develop new approaches, and share your expertise, with the support and proven methods needed to deliver confidently for our clients and grow your career.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent, and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position but you will be expected on client site/CGI Offices 1–2 days a week on average.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and support end-to-end process analysis and design across complex client environments, helping organisations understand how work is delivered today and how it can be improved for the future. You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders, facilitating collaborative workshops, challenging assumptions, and translating business requirements into pragmatic, value-focused solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
