Business Processing Coordinator
Location: Hemel Hempstead office, hybrid working
Working pattern
- Full-time role
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am to 5:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Three days office-based and two days working from home once fully trained
About the role
The Business Processing Coordinator provides effective coordination between customers, suppliers, sales, service, warehouse teams, technical resources and third-party stakeholders. The role manages customer requests and orders across all lines of business while maintaining accuracy, efficiency and a consistently high standard of customer service.
Main duties
- Manage customer requests and orders from initial receipt through to completion.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, internal teams, technical resources and third-party stakeholders.
- Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate deliveries, installations and follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate data across relevant systems and support accurate invoicing on completion.
- Conduct quality spot checks and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the customer experience.

Experience and knowledge
- Experience in a customer-focused operational or business processing environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to investigate problems, take ownership and deliver practical solutions.
- A collaborative, adaptable and proactive approach, with an awareness of process compliance and data integrity.
