2 years Max-term (Full-time) Position | Based in Norwest NSW

Lead enterprise-wide process transformation across a newly unified national organisation. Drive operational excellence, innovation and sustainable business improvement. Shape the future operating model of one of Australia's largest care providers.

As our Business Process Re-Engineering Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping how BaptistCare operates into the future. Reporting to the General Manager, Transformation Management Office, you'll establish and lead an enterprise-wide process re-engineering capability that simplifies workflows, reduces duplication, improves accountability, and enhances both employee and customer experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to influence transformational change at scale, working closely with executives, senior leaders, and project teams to redesign the way we work across aged care, community services, housing and corporate functions.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and lead BaptistCare's enterprise process re-engineering framework, methodology, governance and standards.
  • Drive process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives across major transformation programs and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and manage a prioritised pipeline of process improvement opportunities aligned to organisational goals.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, process mapping, future-state design and transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with executives, operational leaders and project teams to optimise workflows, operating models and service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digital enablement, AI and analytics to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Lead benefits realisation activities and ensure improvements transition successfully into business-as-usual operations.
  • Establish and grow a Process Re-Engineering Community of Practice across the organisation.
  • Coach leaders, project teams and subject matter experts in process improvement disciplines and best practices.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations through transformation governance forums.

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Transformation, Operations, Technology, Management or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business process redesign, operating model transformation, merger integration or enterprise-wide improvement programs.
  • Significant experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving outcomes across complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strong capability in process improvement, business transformation and organisational change.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, solving complex business problems and delivering practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Highly Regarded

  • Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Service Design, Change Management or Project Management qualifications.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics or digital technologies to improve business performance.
  • Experience establishing enterprise frameworks, methodologies or capability uplift programs.
  • Consulting, transformation or enterprise improvement experience within large, complex organisations.
