Product / Business Analyst - London Market Insurance

📍 London (Hybrid Working - 3 Days per Week in the Office)

Are you an experienced Product Owner, Business Analyst looking for your next challenge?

We are working with a leading organisation in the London Market insurance sector that is investing heavily in digital transformation and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative Agile environment where your analytical thinking, stakeholder management expertise, and product mindset will help drive the success of innovative digital platforms and solutions.

The Role

As a Product / Business Analyst, you will act as the vital link between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective and valuable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and clearly document outcomes.
  • Analyse, map, and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
  • Gather, validate, and prioritise business and user requirements.
  • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across clients, business users, and technical teams.
  • Support product backlog creation, refinement, and prioritisation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure successful delivery of requirements.
  • Capture and communicate user feedback to support continuous product improvement.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and delivery planning.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst who has worked within the insurance niche.
  • Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Practical experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to balance business priorities with technical considerations.
  • A proactive approach with confidence to challenge constructively and drive positive change.
