Underwriting Operations & Transformation - London Insurance Market

Location: London

Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Hybrid

Salary: Up to £100k + Bonus

We are looking for an underwriting professional who wants to use their market knowledge to improve how an underwriting function operates within a reputable London Market Insurer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an underwriting background who is naturally interested in systems, processes and the wider operating model. You may currently be working as an underwriter but find yourself drawn to improving workflows, solving operational problems and helping colleagues work more effectively.

This role offers the opportunity to build on your underwriting experience while moving into a broader, change-focused position. You will remain close to the underwriting function, but will have the scope to influence its operating model, improve the tools and processes underwriters rely on, and help shape how the function works in the future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
