Nottingham | Fully Office Based | 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday | Competitive Salary

Job Purpose Summary

At CMS Distribution, we're looking for a Business Projects Officer to support business-wide initiatives, technology rollouts and change projects across our organisation. Based in our Castleford office, you'll work with colleagues across multiple functions and international locations, helping to deliver meaningful business change while building valuable experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement and transformation.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in Project Management, PMO, Change Management or Business Transformation.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the successful delivery of business projects and strategic initiatives
- Coordinating communications and stakeholder engagement activities
- Helping teams navigate business and technology change, including system rollouts
- Creating project updates, reports, dashboards and presentations
- Monitoring project progress, risks and key actions
- Building strong relationships across teams and departments
- Gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Working closely with colleagues across the UK and international CMS locations

We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working with technology and enthusiastic about learning new systems and digital tools
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
- Curious, positive and eager to learn
- Motivated to build a career in projects, change or business transformation

We'd Also Love To See:
- Experience supporting projects, coordinating activity or working in a project-focused environment
- Exposure to stakeholder engagement, communications or change initiatives
- Knowledge of project management tools and ways of working
- A degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Project Management or a related discipline
- Agile, CAPM, PMP or similar qualifications (or an interest in working towards them)
