🚨 Business Rates Officer | Fully Remote | 3-Month Contract 🚨 I'm currently working with a Local Authority looking for an experienced Business Rates Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.
✅ Fully Remote ✅ Immediate Start Available ✅ Chance of Extension
Key responsibilities:
- Processing Mandatory, Discretionary and Small Business Rate Relief applications
- Setting up new Business Rates accounts and maintaining existing accounts
- Processing account amendments and changes
- Moving and reallocating payments
- Managing referrals and resolving queries
- Clearing backlogs and reducing outstanding workloads
- Handling email enquiries and day-to-day Business Rates administration

Essential Experience:
- Previous Local Authority Business Rates experience
- Strong working knowledge of the MRI/Academy Revenues System
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
