Business Readiness and Change Lead
As our Business Readiness and Change Lead, you'll be an important part of our Change Team, making sure that organisational changes are successfully embedded across the business.
You'll be the link between our Change Team and the wider organisation, helping to bring projects and new ways of working to life. You'll take complex ideas and turn them into clear, practical and manageable changes, making sure that our teams understand what's happening and feel supported through the process.
You'll work closely with operational, clinical, people, engineering, and leadership teams, ensuring that all changes are understood and introduced thoughtfully into the business.
Hybrid: This position requires attendance at our Pontypool office twice per week.
What you'll be doing:
Change
- Lead business readiness activities for projects, change requests, and transformation initiatives by developing and executing structured change plans, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support post-go-live adoption and knowledge transfer by facilitating targeted support and coaching sessions, equipping colleagues with the skills needed to confidently embrace new changes.
- Create clear, practical training materials, guidance, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by turning new processes into easy-to-follow documentation, helping colleagues feel confident and supported through change and enabling successful adoption.
- Deliver targeted communications by collaborating closely with different teams to engage stakeholders and ensure everyone is brought along the change journey.
- Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and readiness milestones by staying connected to project progress and raising concerns early, helping the team navigate challenges smoothly and keep initiatives on track.
- Share clear, regular updates with the business using project data and readiness insights, keeping leaders informed, aligned and confident in the progress of change.
- Create and maintain a single, organised knowledge repository containing up-to-date training videos, documentation, and tailored onboarding pathways for all business areas.
New Customers
- Lead the onboarding of new commercial customers (both NHS and private industry) by acting as the primary point of contact and coordinating cross-functional activities, ensuring a seamless setup and a positive early experience.
- Manage implementation readiness and operational transition by guiding customers through clear transition plans and ensuring technical and operational needs are in place for a smooth, confident go live.
- Support customers after go-live by providing tailored knowledge sharing sessions and practical resources, helping teams build confidence, operate effectively, and achieve long term success and satisfaction.

We'd love it if you're someone who is:
- Able to communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders by delivering clear, tailored project updates and facilitating transition sessions via virtual meetings and in-person workshops.
- Able to demonstrate organisational skills, managing multiple initiatives while effectively prioritising your own workload, and guiding project teams to meet deadlines.
- Capable of collaborating to solve problems by working with colleagues across a range of departments, you will be able understand their departmental challenges and actively facilitate sessions to design practical solutions.
- Able to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organisation, successfully gaining buy-in and trust from senior leadership through to frontline colleagues to drive adoption.
We'd love it if you're someone who has:
- Practical experience working in dedicated change roles, such as Change Management, Business Readiness, Transformation, Service Transition, or Project Delivery.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks across different projects to meet deadlines.
- Practical experience applying project governance, identifying and managing project risks, and creating detailed implementation plans.
- Previous experience working within highly regulated environments (such as financial services, healthcare, or social care), understanding the specific compliance and governance required.
- Experience supporting the delivery of technical or operational changes, specifically system implementations, continuous service improvements, or digital transformation programmes.
