2877 – Business Relationship Manager (BRM)

Join a people-centred technology team that thrives on innovation, collaboration and delivering meaningful outcomes. We're seeking an experienced Business Relationship Manager to support the ongoing development of a Business Relationship Management function. Acting as a trusted interface between business stakeholders and Digital teams, you will help ensure investment priorities align with strategic objectives while supporting the successful delivery and value realisation of digital investments.

This role requires an individual who can operate confidently across multiple stakeholder groups, influence decision-making and drive alignment between business demand and technology delivery.

📍 Location: The role can be based in Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness, with occasional travel to other locations as required. Scotland-based candidates are preferred

🔁Contract Type: Contract or Permanent considered

What's Important

  • Immediate availability or ability to start within 1 to 2 weeks is highly desirable
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and deliver value with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable operating across both strategic and operational activities within a growing BRM function

What you’ll do

  • Act as a trusted advisor and interface between business and Digital teams
  • Build strong relationships across multiple business functions
  • Shape and challenge new demand opportunities
  • Support prioritisation and governance discussions
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and requirements discovery activities
  • Help develop business cases and value propositions
  • Support strategic planning and portfolio alignment activities
  • Work with stakeholders to identify priorities and desired outcomes
  • Support successful delivery and value realisation of digital investments
  • Identify and help resolve issues impacting delivery or business outcomes

What to bring

  • Experience in a Business Relationship Manager, Senior Business Analyst, Portfolio, Change or similar stakeholder-facing role
  • Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
  • Experience working within complex organisational environments
  • Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Experience supporting governance and prioritisation activities
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Ability to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable outcomes
  • Proactive, self-starting and delivery-focused approach
  • Comfortable engaging with senior leadership teams
