About The Job
Games Workshop is looking for a Business Reporting Accountant. We’re looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset who can thrive in a business that values honesty and collaboration.
This is a varied position where you’ll play a critical role in supporting effective decision-making through producing high-quality financial performance reporting across the business, including global sales by territory and channel and cost centre reporting. With a questioning mindset and natural ability to foster strong working relationships, you’ll provide insight and rationale into trends and variances against costs and historical performance.
You’ll always maintain the highest standards, and, coupled with your technical ability, this will ensure you produce accurate and insightful reports for our managers, enabling them to track performance and identify key issues. This role involves working across all areas of Games Workshop and we’re looking for someone who uses their commercial acumen to understand our business. You’ll support annual forecasting activities and the financial appraisal of new stores, and monitor ongoing capital investment against departmental plans.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
