Join us as a C&I Business Risk Insights Lead,

Play a key role by developing and delivering actionable non-financial risk insights to support proactive data-led risk insights within the Commercial & Institutional First Line of Defence (1LOD)

  • Work with business leaders to enable a data-driven risk culture and embed risk insights into day-to-day decision-making
  • Lead a team, and expand your expertise by elevating static reporting and leveraging AI, machine learning, and automation to predict emerging risks and automate risk intelligence reporting

What you'll do

As a Business Risk Insights Lead, you'll be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics, AI-driven automation, and industry-leading visualisation tools to enhance strategic risk decision-making, drive risk awareness, and embed risk frameworks across the bank. You'll also play an important part in translating complex risk information into meaningful narratives and business intelligence to ensure risk insights are clear, contextual, and relevant, enabling senior leaders and frontline teams to make informed risk-based decisions.

In Addition, You’ll Be

  • Developing next-generation risk insights, building intuitive, interactive risk solutions that enable business users to self-serve risk intelligence in real-time, rather than waiting on periodic reports
  • Transitioning from raw data production to contextualised insights, writing compelling risk narratives, and helping drive informed business actions
  • Working closely with risk owners in 1LOD to ensure insights drive tangible risk actions and business impact
  • Developing narratives that help businesses understand, prioritise, and mitigate non-financial risks effectively
  • Engaging with business leaders to ensure they understand and act on risk intelligence, rather than treating risk data solely as a compliance exercise
  • Collaborating across the First, Second, and Third Lines of Defence (1LOD, 2LOD, and 3LOD), to ensure risk insights align with regulatory requirements, supervisory expectations, and regulatory reporting

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with the ability to influence senior business leaders and ensure risk insights translate into practical business decisions, backed by strong knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and Risk Management Frameworks. You must also bring a robust ability to convert complex data into meaningful, actionable narratives for business leaders, along with deep knowledge of data analytics, for risk management.

In Addition, You’ll Need

  • A solid understanding of AI, and automation tools for risk intelligence
  • Experience designing real-time, dynamic risk dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
  • The ability to train and upskill business teams in using data-driven risk insights effectively
