Join us as a Business Risk Read Across Lead

Make a real impact across the bank by leading the identification, assessment, and coordination of Commercial & Institutional (C&I) reviews across risk, control, conduct, and regulatory themes. Gain visibility and ensure lessons learned, emerging risks, and control improvements are applied consistently across Business Banking, Commercial Mid-Market, Corporate and Institutional Banking, NatWest Markets, RBS International, Products, and Operations as appropriate. Play a key role in supporting the bank’s success by enabling safe growth in line with strategic goals, transformation, and consistent delivery of good customer outcomes.

What you'll do

As a Business Risk Read Across Lead, you’ll define, implement, maintain, and own the C&I read across and lessons learned process, providing effective governance and oversight to help prevent potential control failures across the C&I business. You’ll also lead the assessment of potential impacts across franchises, products, customer segments, and legal entities, while ensuring emerging risk exposures, control weaknesses, and thematic issues are escalated in a timely manner with recommendations that support safe growth and good customer outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
