Our partner is looking for a Business Screening Team Lead based in United Kingdom.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations leader to oversee business screening activities within a global, remote-first environment. In this role, you will lead high-performing screening teams, optimize operational processes, and ensure exceptional quality throughout the talent evaluation journey. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will drive process improvements, monitor key performance metrics, and contribute to the development of scalable screening strategies. This position is ideal for a collaborative and analytical professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading teams, and is passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Business Screening teams to achieve quality standards, operational targets, and performance objectives.
  • Monitor team performance, analyze operational metrics, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and talent activation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute new screening initiatives, process updates, and operational enhancements across the screening function.
  • Oversee screening workflows, maintain screening exercises, and support the creation of new talent specializations and evaluation paths.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, quality assurance, analytics, and operational stakeholders to improve screening methodologies and reporting.
  • Support workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of new screeners while fostering a positive and engaging team culture.
  • Act as an escalation point for screening-related issues, investigating complex cases and ensuring timely, customer-focused resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of screening processes, policies, and standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational scalability.
  • Drive continuous process optimization through data analysis, operational insights, and collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in operations management, team leadership, project management, or business process management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, improving operational workflows, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, mentoring, and people management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Adaptable mindset with the ability to manage changing priorities and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Experience within the technology industry or IT environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles is considered a plus.
