We’re Hiring: Business Security Compliance Officer!
📍 Location: Luton, LU1 3PG
💰 Pay: £17.28 per hour
📅 Hours: 42 hours a week: Monday to Thursday 7:15am to 4:15pm and Friday 7:15am to 1:15pm

We are recruiting for a Business Security Compliance Officer to join a well-established organisation, supporting the delivery of security and compliance activities across a complex and highly regulated environment. This role is central to maintaining security standards, ensuring adherence to company policies and national security requirements, and providing trusted advice and guidance to stakeholders across the business🛡️
This position as a Business Security Compliance Officer would suit a proactive security professional who is confident working independently and managing a varied workload. Working as part of an experienced security function for a major UK organisation, the successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong culture of compliance, supporting business objectives, and helping to ensure security requirements are consistently met across the site.

Responsibilities
Job Description
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Deliver all aspects of the Site Security service support to the business in line with company and government guidance
- Communicate security requirements clearly with all personnel
- Deal with general sit enquiries and complaints, in a professional, approachable and constructive way, providing excellent customer service
- Cultivate and maintain knowledge of all security related company and government guidance
- Gather and report security related data to support the understanding of information
- Manage and maintain all security records and databases
- Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the company

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work on own initiative
- British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements)
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
