Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Business Services Administrator for a 6 month fixed term contract.
The primary function of the role is to work as part of a high performing, customer focused Business Services team, providing a range of business administration & systems support services.

You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general secretarial and administrative services including photocopying, faxing, filing, scanning of documents, data inputting, minute taking at meetings, typing, document development and formatting and other duties in line with business need.
- Complete a range of general reception support duties including but not limited to coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements, maintaining stationary & domestic stock levels, managing mail and SHE responsibilities.
- Coordinate and complete contractor and visitor inductions to the required site standard including administration of required paperwork & photographs are up to date.
- Continually identify, develop & implement improvements to the business administration system, support & services that are required at the site, providing training to others as required.
- Complete required training and development activities to maintain and develop own competence.
Minimum Requirements
- GCSE Grades 9-4 in Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Experience in a general Administration role, ideally gained within a busy office or reception environment.
- Advanced typing skills.
- Confident in using Microsoft Word and other packages to produce professional documents and letters.
- Experience of taking meeting minutes.
- Experience of booking travel and accommodation.
- Able to prioritise own workload.
- Confident in communicating with others, in person, by email & phone.
- Completed the required company induction into this role
