- Location: Office based in Bristol
- Working Pattern: Full time (36.25 hours between 08:00 and 18:00, Mon to Fri)
- Why this role matters: This is a pivotal opportunity supporting the core business with first class internal and external customer service, and facilities administration.
What you’ll do
As a Business Services Assistant your day-to-day will be varied giving you the opportunity to learn and grow your career in a friendly, corporate environment. Using your skills to provide general customer service and admin support to the business.
In this role, you’ll:
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, scanning, photocopying and document production, including binding and laminating.
- Manage stationery, IT consumables and office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Support new starters and leavers with workspace, equipment and office set-up requirements.
- Maintain meeting rooms, client areas and office facilities, including AV set-up and catering support.
- Provide a professional front-of-house service, covering reception, visitors and events as required.
- Liaise with contractors, engineers and service providers, supporting the smooth running of office operations.
- Support health and safety compliance, including Fire Warden and First Aid responsibilities where required.
- Travel occasionally to support other office locations and undertake additional duties as requested by the Office Manager.

We’re seeking someone who has professional customer facing experience and thrives in a fast paced, friendly environment. We can help you learn the rest:
- Experience working in an office or business support environment, ideally handling post, administration and workplace support activities.
- A highly professional, positive and proactive approach, with pride in delivering high standards of service.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work flexibly, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Good IT literacy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- An interest in workplace operations, facilities management and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices (desirable).
- Ability to work 36.25 hours per week on a shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00.
- A shared passion for innovation, collaboration and achieving great results together.
