Salary: £27,612 per annum
Contract: This is a fixed-term role until 30-Oct-2028, allowing you to help shape processes ahead of opening, and refine them once they’ve been put to the test.
Hours/ working pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Interview dates: 22nd & 26th October 2026
What It's Like To Work Here
It’s an exciting time to join the National Trust team at Bath Assembly Rooms. This beautiful Grade 1 listed building, known for music, parties, dancing and entertainment during Bath’s Georgian heyday, will reopen in 2027 following two years of a major building project and the installation of an innovative new visitor attraction.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape processes and procedures from scratch and help set the property up for success. You’ll report to the Visitor Operations Manager and work closely with the Facilities Manager to identify and plan for the unique operational needs of this busy building.
Bath Assembly Rooms is part of the National Trust Bath Property Group which also includes Dyrham Park, Prior Park Landscape Garden, Bath Skyline and Bathampton Meadows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
