Business Services Executive (Maternity Cover)

Job Location: UK wide

Job Type: Maternity Cover FTC

Remuneration: Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Services Executive to join our Liability Claims Services team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover, supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality claims operations.

Working closely with Adjusters and operational colleagues, you will provide vital administrative and operational support across claims, billing, reporting, workflow management and case administration activities. You will help ensure claims are progressed efficiently, data is maintained accurately and key operational and financial objectives are achieved.

This is a varied role where accuracy, organisation and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Experience in an administrative, operational support, insurance or claims environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and workflow management skills, including monitoring tasks, diaries, aged WIP, incoming communications and case progression to support operational objectives.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with experience maintaining accurate records, data entry and ensuring claim information within Darwin and related systems is correct and up to date.
  • Confidence working with financial processes, including billing, payments, revenue tracking, reporting, reconciliations and resolving queries.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and respond professionally to colleagues, clients, policyholders, brokers and claimants.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with experience producing management information, operational reports and data reconciliations to support operational teams and workload management.
